Tweedie & Associates Equine Veterinary Services in partnership with Groupe France Elevage are pleased to present to Australian breeders, five of the best jumping stallions Europe has to offer.
We are pleased to be able to offer breeders using approved veterinary clinics, the most attractive breeding terms ever offered for imported frozen semen in Australia. Approved veterinary clinics have been selected based on their wealth of equine reproduction expertise and their excellent reputations with the veterinary profession. Breeders using these clinics will have access to six doses of frozen semen and a live foal guarantee. Please read the contract for the sale of frozen semen to breeders using an approved veterinary clinic for more information.
Of course, there are many excellent equine reproduction veterinarians practicing in Australia. We appreciate that many breeders would prefer to continue using their current veterinary clinic, so we have ensured that frozen semen will still be available to breeders using the veterinarian of their choice. Please read the contract for the sale of frozen semen to breeders using a non-approved veterinary clinic for more information.
France’s number one stallion. By the legendary Voltaire out of a Nimmerdor / Le Mexico mare! He was a Grand Prix winner and his progeny are already out and winning at a Grand Prix level. According to GFE principal, Arnaud Evain: ‘A son of the famous Voltaire, Kannan has become available after a fabulous competitive career, just at the time that his progeny are showing exceptional ability on the international stage. Power, carefulness and a tough competitive spirit characterize the progeny of Kannan.’
Kannan Progeny:
Kannan offspring are performing well in Europe. All are showing a good technique over a fence as well as a trainable attitude. They all have good scope over a fence and the ability to deal with more technical courses. The fabulous mare Kismet is an outstanding example of Kannan progeny competing at the highest level. Partnered with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, she will compete in this years Rolex World Cup final. Not only are Kannan offspring performing in the showjumping arena, they are also starting to show extreme talent for eventing. For example, Pippa Funnell (GB) rode Billy Shannon a son of Kannan to win the 5yr old young event horse class at Burghley! This horse has continued his career with Pippa Funnell (GB).
