At Tweedie and Associates we pride ourselves on providing a professional, caring and supportive veterinary service for our clients and their horses. We are committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients and we realize that developing trusting relationships is vital to enable us to offer a veterinary service that takes into account the individual goals and budgets of our clients.It is always our aim to be approachable and available for our clients and at the end of the day nothing gives us more satisfaction than seeing our clients out at competitions enjoying their horses!
Both Dr Mike Tweedie and Dr Lara Savva have a great interest in performance and show horses and can often be spotted either swabbing or spectating at many of the major competitions held at the picturesque Werribee Park Equestrian Centre.
Phantom and Milly
When Mike met Phantom he was suffering from chronic laminitis. Phantom was also showing many of the other signs of Cushings disease such as a long hair coat and bulging fat pads above his eyes. Phantom tested positive for Cushings disease and began treatment immediately.
This is Phantom and Milly today, roaring around the cross country and having a great time at pony club! We were very pleased to help Phantom find a new lease on life and it is great to see him out competing with his super little rider.
